OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

WILL NOT IGNITE

For an electric stove doesn’t turn on, first ensure the stove is plugged in and all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light on gas models. If the oven is plugged in and the pilot light is lit in the oven, then some other part of the appliance will need to be fixed. The cause of the problem might be the infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN DOES NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven with no produce heat will not do much good. An oven doesn’t heat if there is a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner doesn’t ignite if an element breaks or the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We are able to troubleshoot and fix these common problems in under 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER ISSUES

It is reasonable to assume the control panel on an oven is broken if the timer or program settings aren’t working. OVEN IS TOO HOT

You should have a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the heat is out of control, it might be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our appliance technicians are able to diagnose the reason for the problem and then fix it. Just be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter will glow but it won’t light. The reason this occurs is from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine whether we can fix these applianceparts or if we will need to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning types of ovens sometimes experience door issues. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to troubleshoot why the door doesn’t open up and then we complete the repair so we can put an end to the issue.
